Dying jeep

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Runs good for 10 min or so then kills
dashboard and all stays on will turn over
but won't start for 10 min or so then will
crank back up changed fuel pump and fuel
filter stil doing it

Sounds like the Crankshaft Position Sensor is bad or your ignition coil (or module) are breaking down when hot. The CPS is easy to test you'll just have to find the specs on how manys OHMs of resistance it should read. Use a multimeter to read the resistance while cold and then once the vehicle shuts down and compare those reading with the specs. While it won't start you can keep reading the OHMs until they come down to within specs then try starting I again it should fire back up
