Dent on the back of a 2014 Toyota Rav4

I recently got into a minor fender bender resulting in
this dent. I’m thinking of taking the panel off of the
inside of the car and pushing the dent out myself.
Has anyone done this before? How did you take the
panel off, and did it work? Thank you!

You can pull the inner hatch panel off. Then try banging it out, with a body hammer and dolly, which I would recommend purchasing. You need a certain technique using the dolly as a straightedge and the hammer against the dolly to not damage the metal on the hatch. But banging the dent out, you will never get it back to the way it was, it might look a little better, but from the photo, the paint is cracked, and you will still have dents that would need to be filled, sanded and then painted. Your vehicle is fairly new, so it would be best to have a body shop take care of it. Some shops might even replace the hatch to save labor costs.
That dent will not push out cleanly. You may do more damage than good if you start banging on it. That one is best left to a pro.
