My full-size Buick required 30 lbs of tire pressure. My much-smaller 2014 Hyundai Elantra instructions call for 33 lbs. Why higher pressure for a smaller car with smaller tires?

fuel and braking 33 LBS uses less fuel well driving and brakes better to stop faster.

Thank you, William. I understand your reply, but I need to know if 30 pounds pressure in Hyundai Elantra tires would cause a safety concern. It does give a softer ride.

well i know 40 lbs car will slide stopping 33 lbs it's rated for, 30 lbs i know you get poor gas miles and a little rough ride, as for softer ride not sure because the car i have use to drive nice after a few potholes never drove soft again so not sure i don't want to lie to you so not sure.
