95 explorer fuel pump won't kick in when warm

Question type: Maintenance & Repair
95 explorer won't start. Pull the ignition fuse with
key on then replace it and the fuel pump will cycle
but if you drive it and shut it off after its warm the
fuel pump won't cycle and it won't start. Replaced
pump and computer board not long ago. Can
jumper the pump and make it cycle so we know
thats good still.

Make sure battery has a full charge and connections all good? Notice the wiring diagram. Note the fuel pump/sender lower right in diagram. See the circle with M, that's the fuel pump. that top wire on that side is voltage, the bottom black wire is ground, when problem is ongoing is there voltage and ground? You can have helper crank it and you can use a test light to check voltage and ground. See the fuel pump relay in diagram, the relay has two sides, the switch side, right side in diagram, and the control side, left side in diagram. If you unplug relay and use jumper wire on cavities 30 and 87, the pump should run. If it runs with jumper but otherwise won't, check the control side of relay for voltage and ground, engine cranking. If fuel filter is separate from pump, did you change fuel filter? When pump runs can you check proper fuel pressure? When problem is ongoing, engine cranking, do have spark at the plugs and fuel injector pulse, all that good stuff? Any applicable trouble codes? I can only help with testing, good luck.
Funny thing is that I started it and shut it off at least 40 times the other day and no issues. I keep thinking the computer isn't talking right because of a bad solder connection when it warms up. Since if I pull the fuse and reset it with the ignition on it will cycle and start as long as its cool
