Explorer engine how to tell what type?

Question type: General

My 1995 explorer 2wd has a 6 cyl 4.0L engine but I'm not sure if it is the pushrod type or the overhead cam type.My haynes manual refers to both types How do I tell?

i belive it is pushrod,but way to know for sure just pull valve cover off.sometimes you can also get the eight digit off vin and call parts store .
