no option for manually putting off dome lights in Ford explorer 2015

Asked by saltnpep Jul 23, 2015 at 08:27 AM about the 2015 Ford Explorer

Question type: General

I have gone through the entire manual and the car dashboard and interior, there is no option to manually put off the reading lamps front and rear and even the 3rd row lamp if any of the doors is opened, even if your having your car vacuumed or if you want to open the doors and the kids are asleep in the back seat. Is there no such control for car owners to select?

I would call the dealer or stop by a ford dealer. there has to be a cut off switch and you would think it would be on one of the interior lights. you will find it

Try using the dimmer on the dash and turn it all the way down, this may work. Normally there is a "click" position when turned all the way in one direction which will turn off the lights.
