Clicking Sound, Dash lights flickering

Asked by Sarah Jan 08, 2024 at 03:49 PM about the 2015 Ford Expedition

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2015 Ford Expedition. When I press my heated seat button my dash
and headlights flicker, I have loud clicking sound coming from the dash, my
front blower stops, I am unable to use the windows or locks, my battery light
comes on and says there is a charging problem. It is not the alternator, and
all fuses seem to be fine. After driving it for a bit, it goes back to normal, and
I am able to use my windows and climate controls again. What could be the
problem?

Sounds like wiring or power distribution center trouble. Has the vehicle been flooded or really wet?
