Sounds like possibly your accelerator position switch is going bad. Lots of owners have similar issues with theirs. Is check engine light on? If so have codes read. But sometime this issue will not trip a check engine code for some reason.

ISSUE IS IN WIRE HARNESS! IT IS NOT THE TPS PPS OR THROTTLE BODY ITSELF! it does not need an upgrade or the connections to be cleaned that's all going to waste your money and frustrate you. When it is acting up have someone with the equipment to read current running through the wires to find the break in the current. There is a rub point on the wire harness somewhere underneath the throttle body. Find the break and fix your problem.
