Why won't my car start.?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Car started all the time came out
of store would not start  2015
Elantra sport started with jump
then turned it off now wont start
at all not even with a jump
everything lights up ok just makes
a clicking sound when trying to
start it

Have battery and alternator tested....the clicking sound means there's not enough of a charge in the battery to start the car....could be a bad cell in the battery causing it to not hold charge, or the alternator may not be putting out enough of a charge

Thank you so much it was the battery I changed it out its running good now I just didn't understand the battery was not that old really

If it wasn't that old you might still want to get the alternator tested too
