Salvage title

Question type: General

Are salvage titles worth buying and are the safe to
drive?

Worth buying means the car is worth the price. In the case of a salvaged car I would say it is worth next to nothing. Maybe just parts.

I actually own a low mileage (65,000 mile) 2002 Mazda Miata with a salvage title. It is an excellent car and I would drive it anywhere, but I know it's history and where the damage was and that it was repaired fairly well. If you decide to buy a salvage titled car have it inspected, don't buy a flood car and plan on it's resale value to be very low.
