'95 Thunderbird

Asked by Lindsay Dec 28, 2015 at 11:31 PM about the 1995 Ford Thunderbird

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I recently obtained a '95 tbird and ive been
having issues with the headlights and
attena. Every so often when I turn my car off,
always at night, my headlights won't go off
and the anttna won't go down.  I have to
restart my car several times and wait a few
minutes before turning it off. I have no way
of knowing how long as the previous owner
passed away. What could be wrong and how
can I fix it?

There is a problem with the time delay switch witch is part of the headlight switch.

Have you just sat and waited to see if the lights go off on their own? That doesn't explain the antenna but the timer on the lights may be set to the maximum
