How come we o nly got one key to our 2016 Jeep Compass?

I think there was a second original key but the seller keeps it so they can repo it if you miss a payment. Without that key, they would have to flatbed it in and still they cannot drive it or resell it even if they hold the title. I hope you can get this resolved.
