Car wont start

Asked by cdevaney Nov 14, 2018 at 11:12 PM about the 2016 Subaru Legacy

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2016 Subaru Legacy, and today it wouldn't start. Tried to jump it off
on with cables connected to 2 different cars (at seperate times) and the
interior lights and other functions would work. Parking brake was able to be
activated, locking functions and chair movements were working. But the
engine would not crank at all. Whenever I try to turn the car off using the
push button start, it will turn off then automatically turn itself back on seconds
later. Brought the battery to Auto Zone and their test showed the battery was
good, nothing wrong with it.

I would be taking it to your Subaru dealer. The restart thing has me concerned. Even if your warranty ran out I would ask for a good will repair as this could be dangerous.
