Where is the fuel pump located in a 1994 Ford Aerostar van?

My husband's van will stall out. But after a while, it will start up and run then stall out again. He put in a new fuel filter so now he's thinking it might be the fuel pump. Problem is, he does not know where the fuel pump is located. Is it in the gas tank?

Thank you, Tom. We are going to check plugs, hoses, etc. Hopefully it won't be anything major.
