Maybe you did something wrong when you did the work. Did you leave a plug unconnected?

I find it quite difficult to believe anyone would dump so much money into a no start without finding the facts of just what isn't working right on the car to begin with !! if the crank sensor is out, it's not doing a thing for you because the coil hasn't been communicated with.
