Question type: General

I have a 2016 Nissan Rogue. We were given 2 Fob keys. I cannot (will no
carry) a Fob and asked the dealer to give me a normal key. They did this and
a few months later, I was loaning the car to my son and gave him the unused
Fob. My wife had Fob #1. Fob #2 would not work. Took the car back to
Nissan to fix. They gave me Fob #1 and Fob #2 working. Now the real key
doesn't work and they said they can't give me one that will (though they did
this just a few months ago) How do I get a real key made for this car without
losing the ability of the 2 Fobs to work?

Unfortunately owners manual gives nothing on this or any programming. Dealer can't make any money that way...Smart alec answer I know but this problem has been ongoing and very frustrating.

Have a regular key made and tape a chip key/ fob under the dash as it probably has the proximity sensor built in

Thanks but actually this car is not keyless. It requires an inserted key to start
