change timing belt on 1994 ford escort 1.9L

my belt broke n i have removed every thing but the crankshaft pulley bolt and the pulley.how do i stop the crankshaft from moving when i try too remove bolt???

If you can access the flywheel have a friend hold it with a screwdriver against the teeth or use a special flywheel holing tool.
