Won't start

Asked by GuruBG66M Jan 29, 2019 at 09:19 PM about the 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My Santa fe was running great. No problems at all.
It sat for a little over two days the alarm went off
when I unlocked it & when I tried to start it, it
wouldn't  even turn over. The lights were still
coming on as well as the alarm so it isn't the
battery itself.

Sounds like aftermarket alarm. Preventing the car from starting

On 2020-1004 JG discovered that the alarm system could be reset by opening up the FOB and removing, then replacing the battery.
