four wheel drive

Question type: General

when my husband drives the truck, he will use the four wheel drive and will
forget to shift it back to normal 2 wheel drive and park the truck. Will this
damage the truck if the four wheel drive is on overnight or for long periods at a
time like for couple of hours.

Driving on dry roads in 4WD will damage the drive train. Parking it in 4WD does nothing at all.
