Transmission Issues or Something Else??

Asked by Guru9WBQSM Feb 25, 2021 at 11:50 PM about the 2017 Nissan Sentra

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

We recently purchased a 2017 Nissan Sentra November 2020. It has been
running perfectly with no issues. We woke up to a flat front tire, engaged
parking break, and placed donut onto car. Got in to drive, car started perfect,
sounded perfect, however, once placed into drive it will attempt to
accelerate, but doesn't. Again placed into reverse and won't move. Tried
placing into neutral and when pushing the car will not move. I do not believe
this is the transmission due to no issues or warnings before this. What could
this be? A breaking issue? Thanks

Check to see if the parking brake is disengaged, it might be stuck on.
