Transmission swap?

Sadly, no. The Element transmission was unique to that vehicle. While the two transmissions share some internal components and dimensions, the case design and cv axle locations are very different, even the CRV transmission wont fit. Source: I worked at the East Liberty Honda plant.

Yea i figured it was a long shot but thought id ask...ive got access to an element n i was like hmmm..i wonder if i cud swap em before it was sold. Lol. Anyways...i see on here that this particular tranny has always been an issue for the accords that year...its a great car other than that...i hit a deer recently so shes down n i hoped to get the deer damage and tranny done in one swoop but cant afford a rebuilt. Do you have any advice or ideas? I like scrap yards and pull a parts n am getting my hood and headlight assembly and bumper like that. But i need a condensor and radiator i want w a warranty obviously right? Any ideas where ill save the most money on those and also where to look for a tranny? I appreciate you. My dad was a mechanic so i can do most maintenance things myself but stuff like this i need some help:)
