HR-V Odometer
I can't figure out how to show the odometer reading on my dashboard (2017
HR-V). I see a trip mileage, but no total mileage for the car. There must be a
toggle switch somewhere, but the manual gives no clue and experimentation
pressing buttons on the steering wheel has failed. How do I show the odometer
reading?

I'm having the same problem. Did you figure it out?
I did figure it out, Sarah. There's a black plastic toggle button with a longish shaft extending from the dash in the vicinity of the trip mileage. It's very difficult to see because the dash is also black, so feel around for it. When you find it, just press it and it will show the odometer reading. Pressing it again will show the trip mileage.

that didn't work for me. I pushed in the toggle button, but nothing happens with the odometer
Not being able to see the odometer reading was driving me crazy on my HR-V 2020. And I couldn't change from trip meter A to trip B by just pushing the "long extended button" that user #500 mentioned (or "knob" as Honda calls it in the manual). But finally I figured it out. The owner's manual is not detailed enough, but it will help you find "the knob" in the upper portion of the dashboard. The trick is to first toggle (using the SEL/RESET button) to the screen that shows your "miles per gallon" (MPG) and distance. Once you're on that screen, then you can push the "long extended button" (knob) that user #500 mentioned and the system will toggle easily between the odometer, trip A, and trip B. Silly of Honda not to mention this in their manual. If you still have a problem email me at itsyrigl@sbcglobal.net. Enjoy the ride!

The owners manual for the 2020 is seriously lacking in direction, clear instructions and logic.
