Seats not moving

Well first of all your gonna have to give a little more context here if you want a helpful answer. So does the seat move at all? Like when you push the seat buttons that are located on the door does the seat move? Because if so then you can rule out the fuse right there. If they don’t move then start by checking the fuse is not blown. Also it could be worth your while to take a flash light and check each of the 2 rails that are a part of the seats base. That would be right near the floor, basically the long metal bars that the seat slides back and forth on when you push the button. I have had small items get onto those rails and cause the seat to not move because of the jam from said item. (Like for example a penny or a dime or a paper clip or something). Otherwise you may need to consult an expert regarding whether or not the seat programming has failed. Hope that helps. Good luck.
My Lincoln 1998 had the seat stock all the way back and when I press the switch forward I hear A click under the seat. I removed the seat and I Found a bic lighter in the track. I cleaned all the Area under the seat ( I collected $3.85 cents ) After that the seat still doesn't want to go forward I inspected the fuses and the seat fuse was bad I replaced it and the seat start to work properly. For all of these jobs , don't forget to unplug the Battery. Once you plug the Battery back make Sure don't leave any other divices on, like wipers Radio , or lights.once the battery in on turn the switch but DON'T START the car ,allow the PCM and ECM to reset FOR 7 TO 10 minutes.
