Diesel in my petrol car

Asked by GuruLCQNR Apr 06, 2019 at 03:07 AM about the 2018 Ford EcoSport

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I own a Ford Ecosport automatic car. One of the Ford authorized service
centers filled diesel in my petrol car and their driver drove it for 25 kms to
deliver the car to me. Next day we drove the car for 40 kms. I then complained
to Ford and I am informed by Ford and they agreed that it was the mistake of
their dealer and cleaning the fuel tank, fuel line and replacing the Fuel filter,
spark plugs fuel injectors & Fuel pump will fully solve the issue. Is that correct?

1 Answer

Since it was Ford's mistake, you think I should ask for an engine replacement. My Car is just 2 years old.
