IT... Toyota Safety Sense? determines that the possibility of a frontal collision with a vehicle is high, it prompts the driver to take evasive action and brake, a coffee cup icon will appear on your display screen, suggesting you take a coffee break... up to 4 hours of total driving it will appear, You will need to reset it...

NO. We drove 454 miles-no message. On return trip had 2 hour pit stop. Only when wife and I said we were tired did the coffee cup msg. display. I say that the word tired triggered that. Manual says conversations not recorded. I call BS this is a CYA for car mfgr. & accident investigation. Conversation had to be recorded by ‘black box’ ?

It means the nanny is bugging you to take a break. Ignore her.

This came on 20 minutes into the drive. There was a tense conversation going on. The steering wheel must have picked up on my agitation.

Message comes up just backing out of the garage. How can I get rid of it. Nothing in the Manual!
