Question I have a suspected bad catalytic
converter I took off the exhaust pipe to find
chunks of grey rock inside. I'm getting a
error code of system to lean, my question
is can a bad cat throw this code or is it
something else ? If so where can I find a
cheaper catalytic converter

Yes, that will do it and if u found chunks inside, it's gine. Just go a local muffler shop but make sure they use a compatable replacement because some won't be approved by smog stations. Dealer will be too expensive
