Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I had my 2004 mazda 3 jumpstarted today and now my power steering is
acting up. I got it jumped on my campus first using a big battery pack, me
and my friend drove to a walmart a couple miles away for shopping. when
we returned to the car i realized that i probably didnt let the battery charge
enough. and i was right, i tried to start the car and it wouldnt start at all. we
found someone to help us and he jumped the car for us. we let it run for a
few minutes before trying to leave. when i tried backing out of the parking
spot, i noticed that whenever i turned the wheel all the lights and electronics
in the car would flicker and turn off. so i pulled back into the spot thinking that
i just hadnt charged it enough. i let it charge for a good 25 minutes before
leaving again, the same problem occured. however, when i got driving, there
didnt seem to any problems with the power steering. the only thing out of the
ordinary was when i tried to turn on the lights, the electronics would flicker. i
returned to campus and i shut the car off to see if it would even start. it would
not even turn over. i had sat in the parking lot at walmart for at least 30
minutes just letting it sit and charge plus about a 5 minute drive back. what
could be wrong? i thought about fuses but i dont know what fuse i should
even check.

So it turns out my problem was very minor. As I was looking around for clues as to what might be wrong, I noticed that the positive cable leading to the battery was moving slightly and not securely attached to the battery. I tightened it up and everything was good as new! The car started right up, didn't even need a jump start!
