This all depends on your level of skill, the tools you have, and the space you have. Do you have a lift? It is harder to put a trans in when you can only jack the car up 20" or so. How much experience do you have? Is it a manual or automatic transmission? Manual transmissions are typically easier to replace. Without knowing you personally, it's hard to say. Suggest buying a Haynes manual and reading their step-by-step guide to transmission replacement and deciding for yourself if it's something you can tackle or not.
