2018 Dodge Grand Caravan wont start; red dot on the dashboard.

Asked by Guru99WRKW Oct 03, 2020 at 09:10 PM about the 2018 Dodge Grand Caravan

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I left my 2018 Dodge Grand Caravan with the
key turned (not cranked) while I was listening
to music and vacuuming my car out. The
radio turned off first, then all lights shut off
and a red dot is showing on the dashboard,
now it won’t start. I know the red dot is part of
the anti theft system, but I don’t know how to
turn it off or why this would’ve happened from
leaving the key turned?

Battery cutoff was initiated (its so there is enough power to start the vehicle) or the battery went dead (turn off, remove key, close all doors wait for a few minutes and then try to start or charge the battery
