2018 CRV less than 6000 mi DEAD BATTERY W/all flashing idiot lights.
Jumped to start, drove 10 miles home and let run for an hour and switched off.
Let sit 4-5 hours, tried to start --DEAD AGAIN & all the idiot lights flashing
again. Why?????

finally..yes our 2018 crv touring has a dead battery for the second time since purchase. The first time it had been sitting in our garage for six weeks..so didn’t give the dead battery a lot of thought..it has been working fine since. Yesterday the battery died after an 50-60;km drive. we were able to put a charger on it but we were no where near home. Arrived home today but the battery is extremely hot to the touch and appears to be heating up just sitting in the drive. Has anyone else noticed this hot battery issue.. FYI. full tank the evening before our drive. So fuel below 80% should not have been an issue.
