Auto Lock Not Working

Asked by GuruBPGWG Jan 14, 2019 at 09:13 PM about the 2018 Nissan Rogue

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My auto lock will no unlock my car when it is running.  It only will go to unlock
when I put my car in park and turn the car off. I use to be able to push the
unlock ...and the doors would unlock.  Now pushing the unlock button will not
do anything.  Also, with the car off, I push the lock...and it locks, but then if I
push unlock it does nothing, car stays lock.
I did go into the vehicle setting for auto unlock.  I was only able to have the
setting to unlock when either in park or engine off.
This is when it happened: I think when I stopped to drop someone off, I went
to hit the unlock button and I think at the same time they tried to open the
door, which was locked.  Could this have jammed the unlock button?
Because now I cannot unlock the door, with the auto lock button, when the
car is running.
I went to another dealership, and they could not figure it out by going in my
vehicle setting.  Just frustrating...

2015 Nissan Rogue Auto lock on Drivers door isn’t locking. I push the Lock and it’s unlock. The other doors remain lock.
