ok here we go again looking straight at engine on a ford driver side 1 2 3 pasenger side 4 5 6 .is firing order on a ford.
The other responses you get were wrong the correct firing order for a 1993 Ford Thunderbird v-6 cylinder 3.8 Litter is 1, 4 ,2 ,5 ,3 ,6 one of the other responses you got was for a Mustang. When looking at the motor standing in front of the car the battery should be at your lower right side we will call that 5 O clock that cylinder is #4 then from there going clock wise you will be at the passenger side front corner of the car we will call that 7 O clock that is cylinder # 1. continuing going clock wise the next cylinder would be # 2 at 9 O clock. then closest to the front passenger that would be 11 O clock and cylinder#3. then closest to the driver seat is 1 O clock cylinder # 6. Then at 3 o'clock its #5 cylinder that is the piston placement And the firing order is as follows 1,4,2,5,3,6 again For sure. The Rock with a k at contrerasrr I'll bet my right front marker on it.
