Can I flat tow a 2019 Ford Edge?

I want to flat tow a car less than 5000 lbs behind my class C RV  (Sprinter
chassis).  My Ford Dealer says that that a Ford Escape fits my needs, but I
can't find any documentation that it can.

I would not tow any automatic transmission car with the drive wheels on the ground.

I have flat towed my 2013 Ford Edge with auto trans for over 40K miles with absolutely no problems with drive train. Owners manual says to stop every 6 hours of towing and cycle trans from nuetral to drive to reverse for a few minutes which apparently lubricates the trans. Then put back in neutral and put key in accessory position and you are good to go. We also turn off dash navigation and entertainment section during tow.
