Wiper motor shutting down kia forte 2019

Has anyone had issues with the 2019 Kia Forte
when it comes to snow and the windshield wipers.
If I get even the slightest bit of snow above or
below my wipers and they can't go all the way
down they will just stop moving. Even if I get out
and clear the snow the wipers still takes a good 30
to 60 seconds before it's ready to move again. I
have had dozens of vehicles and generally they are
powerful enough to push the considerable amount
of snow off the windshield either that has settled
there from a snowstorm or has slid from the top of
the vehicle forward. But these wipers are so weak
they can barely push any kind of weight and if they
attempt to push it and then fail they stopped
moving all together and even once the snow is
cleared they will not move. I literally have been
caught multiple times on the road where snow has
gradually built up underneath the windshield wiper
and because it can't drop as far as it normally
would it just ceases to move at all and then I
cannot see where I'm going. I have had to park the
vehicle and drive my old truck because I can't get
the window to clean off.
