Hey I have a mercury grand marquis 2003 that's having a shut off problem every few miles I go it shuts off I bought it was the fuel injecters and filter it wasn't so my guess is computer please help

First thing to look at is the battery cables and connection to the under hood fuse box. Take a close look at the battery cables at the battery and the short cable that goes from the battery to the underhood fuse box (it is part of the positive battery cable). All connections must be free of corrosion and should be tight. Please note that I am not saying this is wrong with your car, but it just might fix it. Always try the easy fix first.

Also, replace the fuel pump relay. They go bad. Also, do a scan on the car to see if there are any error codes, sometimes the problem will show up that way. Auto stores do it, and code readers don't cost much.
