I have a 1997 grand marquis when i am driving it and i floor it it does nothing when i come to a stop and start to go again it is slow at taking off

flow sensor and it runs perfect should
i buy a new air sensor or can i drive
with it disconnected

Might just try cleaning it. There is a special cleaner that you use and do not touch any of the internal parts with your fingers. Only spray the cleaner in it.

I had a similar problem, replaced it, then found out about the cleaner. Clean it every time you replace the air filter. Also, one from a junk yard will work, if cleaned.

It's always a hit-and-miss proposition with the cleaner. It's cheap enough - give it a try.
