i wrecked my first car which is a 97 grand marquis, i loved this car and i think
the motor is still good in it and i was wondering if there was any way to put the
motor into a mustang shell, i heard people talking about it and my father said
it might be possible. and if it is what year would the mustang have to be and
what all would i need to convert it for the mustang thank you

I've seen swap guides for Mustangs for just about every engine out there, so it is possible, although there isn't really anything attractive about a 4.6 that makes the swap anything other than a matter of convenience or cost. In other words, you just happen to have a 4.6 and a mustang shell. Check out the Ford muscle and Mustang forums, you'll find plenty of write-ups on motor swaps. I'd also think it over for a while, before pulling the trigger.
