I have an 2002 Mercury Grand Marquis I just
put a transmission I bought from pull a part
in it and now my car won't start it was doin
just fine starting and driving before I put the
transmission in. Why is it doing this?? Is the
transmission I bought locked up?

It may have to do with the neutral safety switch, if it is on the transmission. Take your old one off and put it on this transmission.

Well the thing is I had sumbdy put a motor in my car nd they changed my transmission out with their sons transmission, so the transmission I had in there wasn't the right one. It was a cord dat was diff and it couldn't plug up I think that's why it wasn't running right so I got another transmission to put in it.

This is one of those situations that you have 2 backyard mechanics working on this, changing who knows what out, so without being there to see what is going on, this can be anything. Your guys are just going to have to figure this out.
