2019 Buick Encore engine knocking

Is this noise pinging from low octane gas? Since you have a warranty let your dealer check it out.

I'd suspect a bad knock sensor. Is the check engine light or service engine soon light on? Hope that helps! Jim

I have a 2017 Buick Encore and from day 1 the engine has ticked. On several occasions I took it to the dealership and they assured me my car was fine. Well, 49,500 the car began dying and throwing codes about everything it could. I had to have my pistons replaced. I was also assured that my engine did not have any damage from the past 2 1/2 years of driving it. I get the car back, one month later the water pump goes out. A month later, My AC is out and I live in Texas. WTH
