2019 Cadillac CTS

Question type: General

I'm 2 months into this lease, I've taken the car in twice to
get it checked out because it has shut off on me twice
while driving. They just called and said that they can't find
anything wrong with it, again. My concern is for my safety,
what if this happens again and I'm not able to pull off of the
road before someone hits me? Has anyone had this
problem? Makes me nervous. Thank you, Jen.

Many modern cars have a auto function where when the car comes to a complete stop the engine will seem to shut off but taking your foot off the break and applying gas should start things right up. Ask the dealer if your car is equipped with this function. Hope this help

Thank you for your reply. My car does have this function and when I applied my foot onto the gas in both of these instances, it was shut off. I had to pull over and put it in park and then restart.
