Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Help please

1 Answer

The small under hood battery that looks like a regular car battery needs to be charged or replaced. It's main function is to energize the cars electronics systems. It does not crank the starter or other typical auto functions. Once the electionics wake up the hybrid battery starts the engine and does all the other heavy lifting. Joe
