Door lock

Question type: General

Since me and my wife drive Hyundai Kona Electric, can i leave the keys inside
car itself so that it gets easy for us to use the car whenever we need without
looking around for keys. but that way , car doesnt seems to turn off fully and
uses battery i think. Please advise if we can leave key in car itself while parking
overnight at home.

Why not just put a key hook inside your home next to the door? That way the keys are easy to find and conveniently located, without compromising the cars security. With the newest cars today, they do detect the presence of the key so you might well be keeping a computer module in an active state and putting a slightly larger load on the battery.

I too would love an answer to this question as I have to tandem park at work and my parking partner will need to move my vehicle.
