key left in locked car

If you lock your spare key in your car can the car get broken into?

Unfortunately any vehicle can get broken into. But since the vehicle is only two years old getting another key will not be a problem. Visit your local Ford Dealer with proof of ownership such as the vehicle registration and your driver's license. They can use the VIN to make you a new key. Hope that helps! Jim

I just tried this. Left one key inside car and the other outside then tried to lock it. Car wouldn't lock. Started engine with one key in car, opened door, hit lock button, closed car, and it wouldn't lock.
