Hello, I am changing the timing belt the marks on the cams are lined up but I don't think the no# 1 piston is at top dead center and I can't find a mark on the gear how do I find top dead center?

pull the #1 plug and put a long socket extension in the hole. Rotate the crank by hand and you will see it move out of the hole. That will tell you when in the neighborhood of TDC, then you should be able to see the marks. If you really want to get fancy, you use a dial indicator and you can check the accuracy of the timing mark, but if you are ready for that you know all that already :)

What side is no# 1 on it will be in front but witch side
Oh, is this a V6 or V8? if so, you'll have too google it. If the cam marks line up, it should have the #1 at TDC already, as the cam marks only align at #1 TDC
