Try jump starting it. Call AAA if you don't have cables.
Thank F_O_R. I tried that. Doesn't do anything.
Something similar with our 2011 Lexus RX350 happened. Upon stopping and setting parking break all dashboard power was lost and the engine shut down. I got the car restarted by physically touching the start/stop button with the key fob and it resumed working more-or-less normally. Had a long phone talk with our Lexus service manager. (Told him a similar but not identical problem occurred two years prior.) We believe it was a poor battery in the key fob because there was a dashboard diagnostic warning that the key was not recognized when the trouble initially appeared. Battery checked out good but on the low side. Replaced it and haven't had any problems but it might take time for the condition to occur again.
Was the issue identified? I'm having same problem with my 2010 RX350. It's not the battery.
Car batteries have plates in them stacked like square plates in your dishwasher and if a piece of one of the plates breaks off it can drop between the plates and cause a short . Even if your car finally starts I would replace the battery . Car batteries should be replaced at least every 4 years .
2015 Lexus RX350. Car dead, no lights, no starterclick, jump start did not eork. I thrn locked/unlocked the car eith key fob while sitti g in drivers seat. Car immediately started. Manual gives no clue of this apparent anti theft security complication.
This happened to me today, while driving! My 350 RX shut down ,dash went blank and seconds later while coasting, started again! I am now terrified of dying behind the wheel. What the heck happened?

Interesting. I have a 2007 RX350 having the same problem. Lexus could not identify the problem. I have replaced the battery, alternator and disassembled the fuse box - cleaned and secured the ground. Replace major fused and relays. Still have the issue. If anyone has a fix I sure would like to learn.

Turned a corner, not tightly, just normally and everything shut off. I had absolutely no power anywhere. It’s not a battery issue as battery is new and last year the old (but still good) battery would lose its charge for no reason. This as sudden and complete. I had no motor, lights, brakes, door locks, steering, NOTHING. This scares me to death. What if this were to happen on the highway? I put it on the portable charger and everything worked again, so in some odd way it is a battery issue. Is there a fix for this?
My 2014 RX350 had the exact same issue as JXGFR. Suddenly powered off during a turn and turned itself back on before i could pull over. Is this mechanical, computer??
Had the same problem. 2010 RX350. Car shuts off while driving. It lost all electrical power. GPS screen started rebooting. I started car again, ran for few seconds then shutdown again. No codes. Not even a low battery warning. Battery tested fine. Tested charging system and no problem with alternator. I'm thinking what the heck?!! Turns out battery terminals & posts had Corrosion. Removed battery and tray underneath. Found 8 grounding bolts. All had rust & Corrosion. I live in Minnesota. I cleaned all the ground connections with wire brush. Problem went away. So, check Ground bolts under Battery tray including circled hidden bolts. Good luck.
