neg cable can be grounded any where on the engine preferably the block.

What about the car's body ? there is no "frame" But there are some thicker structural areas. If your ground wire from a harness went to the unibody or floor ? how would that be in continuity with the neg batt post ? Hmmm, let me get my slide rule....... you guys go ahead.

Make sure you use a braided and grounding strap. Engine block to anywhere on the body...
