driving hybrid with heat sensor warning light on

Asked by Guru9V4MGD Apr 05, 2021 at 08:01 PM about the 2009 Toyota Camry Hybrid

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My mechanic checked out a check hybrid system warning light on my 2009
Camry hybrid and said it indicated it was heat sensor problem.  He cannot
check out the code until next week but I have some travel committments the
next few days.  If i drive the car for the next few days before he checks it out,
will it cause any damage to the car?

1 Answer

You might damage the car or you might not. Do you feel lucky? Ask your mechanic since he has first hand knowledge of the problem.
