Dear viper62-- I would say that the check engine light is trying to tell you something. Normally my first thought is a false positive, but since your 2005 Nissan Altima already showed another symptom (stalled), I would have it hooked up to an OBDII computer to see what is going on. Aren't you still under warranty? Have it checked as soon as possible at your dealership. You would hate to find yourself stalling again, this time in the wrong place. Good luck from Bovan.
