Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a Nissan altima 2003 and it was overheating
and ended up not starting.  I replaced the
thermometer and spark plugs and added coolant
and water and it started again.  Then my friend
drove it and now it won't start what else can I do?

You probably want to have the head gaskets checked for leaks and make sure that you didn't warp the heads.. Overheating is a serious problem and it's a good idea to avoid this at all costs, but, it's already happened... When did you last have your car serviced and change the radiator fluid, check the water pump and belts along with a complete change of coolant?? These are all very important maintenance items on a car. Good luck. How many miles on your 2003?
