THEN WW CHECKED AND ALT WAS CHARGING 18 VOLTS SO I PUT ON A
NEW ALT AND NEW BATTERY 'IT STARTED AND REVVED UP BUT NOW
ALT WILL NOT CHARGE

18 volts can be ok, for a while that's normal , the lost alternator currant now may be your connections or in the process you killed a fuse ,,check that first
